AFTERBURNERS
Thermal and Catalytic Oxidizers with
recuperative heat exchangers are used in a wide variety of industrial VOC abatement
applications. Criteria air pollutants produced in processes such as printing,
semiconductor manufacturing, painting, baking and curing are captured at the source and
routed to the afterburner via ductwork. The thermal process in the afterburner converts VOC's to carbon dioxide and water. Destruction efficiencies in excess of 99% are
achievable with today's technology. |
Baker Afterburners feature sturdy steel construction and the highest quality components
which will provide years of trouble free, reliable operation. Systems with process
flowrates up to 15,000 CFM are custom designed to meet your application and installation
space requirements. The tough industrial enamel finish is well suited to outdoor
installation. Quiet centrifugal blowers provide the option of indoor operation if
required.
Even the largest afterburner systems are installed with a minimal amount of work which
typically involves only connection of natural gas, electricity and the process ductwork.
Our field service department is available to assist in installation and to provide onsite
startup and operator training.
